    • The tree eventually fell apart, but a new offspring is now growing in the same spot.

  • Arnold Zenker - WDEL-AM radio DJ?  Replaced Walter Cronkite of CBS News during the 1967 AFTRA strike.
  • The statue of a king in front of 'The Kings Inn' (now 'Harry's Savoy') on Naaman's Road.  The statue once stood atop the Diamond State Brewery at 5th & Adams Sts.?  Thanks to John Medkeff medkeff@prodigy.net   See note below!
    • The statue fell apart when contractors attempted to move it.
  • The 'Band Organ' from the Lenape Park carousel?
    • The original Lenape Park carousel is still in existence, minus the horses and other animals.  It is located in Peddler’s Village, Lahaska, Penna. (Near New Hope). (Info submitted by R. Mueller, 6/23/08).
